Privacy Policy
Your people stay on your phone.
Birthday Radar has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Here is exactly what the app touches and why.
Last updated
Private by design
Birthday Radar is local-only. Your birthdays, contacts, photos, notes, and gift ideas never leave your device. There are no accounts, no servers, no sync, and no analytics.
Contacts
When you import birthdays, the app reads names, birthdays, and phone numbers from your address book. This happens entirely on your device — nothing is uploaded. You choose which contacts to import, and you can delete anyone from the app at any time.
Calendar scan and data imports
If you choose to scan your calendar, the app reads those events on your device only to find birthdays. You review every result before anything is saved, and nothing is uploaded.
Photos
Photos you add to a person are stored in the app's private storage on your device only.
Calendar & notifications
If you turn them on, birthday calendar events and reminders are created on your device. No calendar or notification data is sent anywhere.
Purchases
Premium purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat, our subscription service provider, receives a random, anonymous identifier and your purchase history to manage your subscription status. It is never linked to your birthdays or contacts, and it is not used for tracking or advertising.
Children
Birthday Radar is a general-audience app and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
You can delete any person inside the app at any time. Deleting Birthday Radar removes all of your data — birthdays, photos, notes, and settings — from your device. There is nothing stored anywhere else, so there is no account to close.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page and inside the app with a new date.
