What is Birthday Radar?
Birthday Radar is a birthday and occasion reminder app for iPhone and iPad. It counts down to every birthday, anniversary, and milestone you add, reminds you in advance, and helps you follow through with a greeting or a gift.
Is Birthday Radar free?
Yes. Birthday Radar is free for up to 10 people, with every core feature included. Premium removes the limit for $1.99 a month, $14.99 a year, or $29.99 once for lifetime access (US prices; your local App Store price may differ).
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no account, no sign-in, and no email address required. You open the app and start adding people.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your device. Birthday Radar has no servers and no sync, so names, dates, photos, notes, and gift ideas never leave your iPhone or iPad. Your regular iCloud or computer backup includes them.
Can I import birthdays from my contacts?
Yes. Tap +, then Import, and choose Contacts. Birthday Radar reads the birthdays and anniversaries saved in your address book on your device, and you review every entry before it's saved.
Can I import birthdays from my calendar?
Yes. Choose Scan calendar in the import sheet. Birthday Radar looks for yearly-recurring and birthday-titled events across your calendars, flags duplicates, and lets you fix any name or date before saving.
Does it track anniversaries and other occasions?
Yes. Open anyone's card and tap Add occasion to track an anniversary, wedding, graduation, memorial, or anything custom. Each occasion gets its own countdown, alerts, and gift list.
When will I get reminders?
On the day itself at the time you choose, plus optional heads-ups 1, 3, or 7 days before. Make sure notifications are allowed for Birthday Radar in iOS Settings.
Can Birthday Radar help me write a birthday message?
Yes. A library of 55 messages is built in, covering 8 birthday tones plus anniversaries, weddings, and sympathy. Pick one, adjust it if you like, and send it from Messages or any other app.
Does Birthday Radar work on iPad?
Yes. Birthday Radar runs on iPhone and iPad. Because nothing syncs, each device keeps its own list.
How do I restore Premium on a new device?
Open Birthday Radar, go to Settings, tap Birthday Radar Premium to open the plans screen, then tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID you bought Premium with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In Birthday Radar, go to Settings and tap Manage or cancel subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals, and Premium stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for. There are no partial-period or prorated refunds.
What happens to my data if my subscription ends?
If a monthly or annual subscription ends, Premium is withdrawn and the people tracked in the app are deleted, as described in our Terms of Use. A lifetime purchase keeps everything permanently. Before a subscription ends, you can export birthdays to your calendar from any person's card.
